Water Damage Led to Mold Growth in Phoenixville

After an unsuccessful attempt by the homeowner to handle water damage himself, SERVPRO of North East Chester County was called into action.  The carpet and pad had to be removed, as well as the saturated baseboards.  Because the water damage was not properly handled, there was significant mold growth in just a few days around the entire perimeter of the walk-in closet.  We were able to safely remove the affected drywall and treat the area according to IICRC standards to make the home safe, clean, and sanitary.  The Phoenixville homeowner was very grateful for our swift response, friendly demeanor, and expert approach to solving the problems and scheduling the build-back.  Another day in the life for SERVPRO of North East Chester County!
